It is always important to have your new home inspected during the building process. This is called performing Phase Inspections. Today, Paul will share with you just some of the his findings during a Phase 2 Inspection. This inspection is performed before the drywall and insulation is installed.
This is Paul Ferris with A-Action Realty Inspection Services. Today I am in Forney Texas doing a Phase II Inspection. This particular property is outside of any municipal jurisdiction, and it is not covered by a building official. This builder uses a third party compliance inspector. Let me show the two quick reasons why it’s so important to have your home inspected by a Licensed Professional Real Estate Inspector. This is the exterior plate of the home and as you can see there are no anchor bolts and this continues around the entire exterior of the property. Another thing I noticed was instead of using the orange fire blocking foam they just used regular insulating foam, where the fire blocking foam should be. So that is just two quick reasons why it is so important to have your home inspected by a Licensed Professional Home Inspector.
